Pre-K4 LeadTeacher: Nick Feucht
Hello, my name is Nicholas Feucht. I am currently 22 years old and I’ve been told I have a sarcastic yet nurturing personality.
I am a senior at Oakland University…GO GRIZZLIES!…in the Social Work Program where I will receive a Bachelors Degree in Social Work with a double minor in Child Welfare and Child Development. I hope to one day work with foster care or child protective services. I graduated from Memphis High School in May of 2015 with several awards for educational and athletic achievement. I chose to go straight to Oakland University because I am bold-headed and like to be challenged. I originally wanted to go into secondary education and have a double major in history…I’m a huge history buff! However, I realized after my first year of college that it wasn’t something that I wanted to pursue any further. The real reason why I wanted to be a teacher is to be able to work with kids. I chose to go into social work because I want to be able to work with children on a more personal level and advocate for a better life for children.
Before becoming a part of the MLC family, I worked as a manager for ACE Hardware during my first year of college. I then transitioned over to ABA Therapy for children with autism and I was also a Registered Behavioral Analyst for Centria Autism Health Care.
Outside of work, I love to hunt and fish. I also love sports, especially when it has to do with the greatest college team in the United States…the University of Michigan…GO BLUE!!!
If you have any further questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask! I look forward to learning more about you as well.
